Jessica Clark

Jessica Clark joined Clarks Attorneys in 2018 as a candidate attorney and was admitted as an attorney in 2020. She holds an LLB from the University of Johannesburg. Before joining the firm, Jessica gained valuable experience in the human rights sector, working with the South African Human Rights Commission and Lawyers for Human Rights. During this time, she was involved in large-scale community matters, strategic litigation, and gender equality cases — work that shaped her passion for law as a tool for social justice.

At Clarks Attorneys, Jessica has developed a strong interest in family, child, and gender equality law. She is known for her skill as a litigator, augmented by her legendary level of organisation and document management (the cornerstone of litigation). Jessica has an empathetic and respectful approach to clients, recognising that family law outcomes directly affect people’s lives. Jessica combines compassion with professionalism, fighting hard to achieve her clients’ objectives while still bringing clear judgment to bear in advising clients on the difficult decisions they are often called to make.

Beyond her legal work, Jessica is committed to animal welfare and rescue. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs, quality time with family and friends, and quiet days at home reading.
