Lerato Seroke holds an LLB from the University of Johannesburg. Lerato joined Clarks Attorneys as a candidate attorney in 2020. She was admitted as an attorney in 2023 and continues to practise as an associate at the firm.

During her studies, Lerato was involved in leadership and academic roles, including tutoring first-year law students and coaching first-year moot court teams. She was a member of the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter. Between 2017 and 2019, she was a mentee in the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges Mentorship Programme.

Committed to community service, Lerato was a member of Law Students Assisting Communities (LAWSAC). She has also mentored Grade 11 girls from Kwena Molapo High School since 2023 through the Thingo Foundation’s Princess Project, helping them develop confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of direction in their personal and academic lives, and providing career guidance. Her commitment to service continues to guide her practice.  

Lerato has a keen interest in family and personal law. She values the opportunity to provide guidance and support to families during times of difficulty and finds it deeply fulfilling to help clients navigate challenges with care and trust. Clients find her thorough and informative emails to them throughout the course of their matters to be particularly helpful, ensuring that she actively partners with her clients in seeing their matters to conclusion.

Outside of her practice, Lerato enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending live music and theatre, reading, and participating in social walks and parkruns.
